Our little piece of green heaven

Wonderful things are happening in our Marina Veruda. They may not be visible to everyone, but now for us they are extremely big little things.

Wonderful things are happening in our Marina Veruda. They may not be visible to everyone, but now for us they are extremely big little things.
We had a piece of land available near by the Reception, a small piece big enough for our eco garden. Our hardworking sailors prepared the area for planting, cultivated the land, fenced it, divided it into flower beds and started planting in the middle of spring. With a bit of knowledge and will, everyone can grow their own plants, so our guys planted zucchini, cucumbers and tomatoes, which we enjoy every day on our brunch table.
It is scientifically proven that staying in nature and in the sun reduces stress. Stress can cause a range of symptoms, both physical and mental; it can most often cause indigestion as well as insomnia, chronic fatigue, etc., while at the level of the mind it can cause anxiety and be a trigger for depression if stress levels are severely elevated.
Financial investments were minimal, cultivated vegetables are harvested as needed, and the surplus can be stored for the winter to enjoy delicious food throughout the year.
Our little garden combines pleasant with useful, so waste becomes compost and we directly affect biodiversity. See in the pictures how is looking our little piece of green paradise.
