When the hustle and bustle of the city quiets down, the river of tourists disperses, and only a select few enthusiasts remain on the beach, the after-season party begins at Marina Veruda.
Charterers, repairmen, sea addicts, random passersby, sailors, employees and a few lost souls, exchange stories from the season that has passed.  

When the hustle and bustle of the city quiets down, the river of tourists disperses, and only a select few enthusiasts remain on the beach, the after-season party begins at Marina Veruda. Charterers, repairmen, sea addicts, random passersby, sailors, employees and a few lost souls, exchange stories from the season that has passed. The days are getting shorter, but the sun is still steadily warming, and the bora has not yet start to pinch the cheeks. The ideal time to dry the sails, remove the fenders and prepare the vessel for a well deserved rest. One vessel from each fleet is preparing for the already traditional charter regatta, which is held, depending on the weather, on the second Saturday in November. This year, around a hundred adventurers gathered under the leadership of 10 sailing virtuosos, claiming the first place. This year's regatta was not missed by the dolphins either, who tried to distract the excellent skippers from the prescribed route with their stunts. With a pleasant wind and calm sea, all participants reached the finish line. The prestigious title was won by the Pitter crew with the vessel Lucia under the command of Mr. Marko Pereša. The celebration then continued on the terrace of the restaurant "Volaria" where the trophies were awarded. On behalf of the winning crew, the trophy was accepted by Sara Muješić, who is adorned with the epithet "the epitome of women's sailing". She was joined by Paolo Bucul and Matija Dobrić. It is an exceptional honor and pleasure for all participants of this event to be part of such a company. We are looking forward to the next regatta and thank everyone who participated in this one.
